Q: Will your products cause purging?

A: Not everyone goes through purging as this may vary on your skin condition and sensitivity. However, there are certain actives that are often times associated with skin purging as it helps unclogs and accelerate skin turnover – which may cause build up as it surface. Some of the popular actives that may trigger “purging” to some people are: exfoliators (i.e. Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid), Retinol/Retinoid and Azelaic Acid. Don’t worry – this is temporary. On average, this might take 3 to 6 six weeks, depending on the severity. Take note that this duration varies, depending on the other products you are using. Some people might have shorter duration or not go through it at all.

Q: Where are you located and how long can you ship my order?

A: Our office and warehouse is currently located in Manila, Philippines. We guarantee ship out the next day if the order is booked on or before 6pm. Depending on the workload and availability of resources, we may include orders that were booked past 6pm to our next day ship out.

Regarding the logistic duration, this will vary on the chosen courier. On a regular day, within NCR, the orders would have an average of 2 to 3 days of travel time before it reach you. Some couriers on certain locations may have faster delivery. Please choose your preferred courier if you’re buying from Shopee, Lazada or Tiktok.

Q: Do you offer same day ship out?

A: Yes. This option is available through our official website (www.croia-aoife.com). Unfortunately, this is not allowed in Shopee, Lazada and Tiktok.

Q: What courier is available?

A: We have multiple couriers available for each platform:

§  Lazada : Flash, J&T, Ninja Van and  LEX  

§  Tiktok: Ninja Van and Flash

§  Shopee: Shopee Express, Flash, Ninja Van and J&T

§  Official website (www.croia-aoife.com): J&T, Lalamove (for same day delivery)

Q: Are your products tested on animal?

A: We’re proud to say that we did not test these on animals. All our items are cruelty free!

Q: What are the do’s and don’t when using your products?

A: If you’re suffering from acne, we highly encourage you to see a dermatologist to properly assess your condition. In Croia, we believe that nothing beats a good guidance from your local dermatologist. Sometimes, if we self-medicate, we might encounter irritations no matter how gentle the product is.  Your dermatologist will assess your skin type and condition and prescribe you with the right products for your skin.

In an event that seeing a dermatologist is not possible, we highly suggest that you add actives one at a time. Put a gap of at least two months before adding a new active. Adding too much strong actives in a short period of time might cause irritation to your skin which may worsen your acne (not in a purging way). On top of that, you might not even know which product caused your condition to worsen because we add too many without getting results first from the earlier product.
